Beer Monuments
The member firms of Central Valley Monument Companies have been helping families of the central San Joaquin Valley remember their loved ones since our beginning in 1934.

Our artists have actively sought to develop the skills and knowledge they need to create the customized, personalized memorials they have come to be known for. Their memorial artwork can be seen in literally every valley cemetery.

And . . . not just in cemeteries. Their work has often taken on the form of many public, historic monuments and memorials. Large memorials such as Fresno County's Peace Officer's Memorial, the tribute memorials for both the Columbia and the Challenger shuttle craft crew members, and the granite sign work of Fresno's prestigious Huntington Boulevard grandly display their artistry.

Memorials are an important way of honoring and remembering the lives of our loved ones. Central Valley Monument Companies are dedicated to helping local families understand what is involved in creating a proper memorial by explaining the different concepts, traditions, techniques, materials and design possibilities.

Memorials of all shapes, sizes and colors are available, and any can be created to reflect the personality of the individual, place or event it commemorates. With cremation becoming a more common practice, "non-traditional" memorials can help commemorate a person whose ashes have been scattered. Granite benches, birdbaths, and even engraved river rocks have been used as fitting tributes.

Memorials for pets are also available . . . allowing for remembering all of our loved ones.

When you need to remember a loved one, we hope you remember us . . .

Having become a landmark of sorts along Belmont Avenue over the years, Beer Monuments, our Fresno location, has been a thread in the tapestry of the Fresno community since it opened its doors as West Belmont Granite Works in 1934, later changing its name to Beer Monuments in the late 1970's.

In the years since, three generations of the Beer family have seen the business develop from once being a small shop in the backyard of the family home, to now being a modern memorial manufacturing facility.

Along with being home to a talent-filled design studio, the Fresno location also houses the production facility for Central Valley Monument Companies. Our memorial artists have access to the tools and equipment needed to create almost any memorial, from the very simple, to the very elaborate.

Beer Monuments takes pride in memorial artwork that can be seen throughout Fresno County, and beyond. Since it opened its doors several decades ago, its commemorative artwork has literally turned the entire central San Joaquin Valley into its gallery.

However, even though the artwork our artists have produced can easily be seen as public memorials, their true work is never neglected . . . helping families remember their loved ones.
Our Business is Remembering . . .
Our Means is Creativity . . .
Our Result is a Legacy . . .

When the need arises, allow us to help you create an appropriate memorial to help your family remember your loved one.
